Size dries clear and tacky. Its tackiness remain for weeks enabling reattachment touch up for gold leaves, decoupage tissues and labels. Easy application with brush or a spritz spray bottle. Adhere well gold leaves, tissue and thin gauge paper, cloth, dried leaves on glass, glazed ceramics, metal, plastics. In double layer gilding application of size ensures strong adhesion. Its tack assists adhesion of acrylic paints as a paint primer even on EVA and polystyrene foam. As soon as the primer dries tacky, acrylic painting can commence. Similarly size is useful in acrylic painting where random gold gilding is part of the art. Powder sparkles, holographic glitters, glo in dark powder, iron oxides weathering, landscape organics are attached where needed with balance dust off the non size prime areas. Mixed with color oxides primer perform as a light oxide wash.
Wash brush in running water and scrub clean with Multifilla brush cleaner to rid tackiness. Over areas of unwanted tackiness can be neutralized by brushing over a coating of brush cleaner.
