To scrap efficiently the triangle 3 corner cutting edge must be sharp. Sharpen on a Mesh #1000 whet stone in a digging in out motion with a finger exerting downward pressure on the scraper. For instant sharpening use Istor Swiss sharpener on all triangle cutters both sides. Wood carvers would use the scrapper to level and clean up the background of a 2D embossed carving. As a wood scrapper to smoothen carvings or use as a reamer in drilled holes. Leather crafter use in puncturing a self closing hole on thick sole leather unlike a round punched out hole.
Bearing scraper are hard to find and of carbon steel that have good edge retention contributing to its sharpness. Keep dry and oiled while in storage.
