Alumina oxide honing and lapping paste to be use after silicon carbide paste. Finally use the green oxide paste. Silicon carbide lapping paste to grind fired ceramic cover to fit. Dap paste onto ceramic rim. Place cover into rim and hand turn to grind. If you have a potters wheel , centralise cover on wheel and press down jar to grind till fit.
