A practical desktop mini sander for miniature wood carving, small tool makers, jewellery designs and knife makers to sand, polish and drill/saw with related accessories.
Stainless steel 201 body is fitted with a 24v DC motor powered by 110-240v. Input 1.8a maximum. Output speed 4500 – 9000rpm. The motor operates on a variable 7 speed adaptor with forward and reverse switch. Quiet motor operation. A squirt of graphite powder dry lubricant helps.
The sanding belt 30mm x 330mm is mounted on sealed ball bearings with a self adjusting tension spring. The work table tool rest is adjustable to 45 degree tilt useful in knife and tool sharpening. The powerful 775 motor can fit 2″/50mm sanding disc, polishing cloth wheel or a stiff buffing wheel. A mini jaw chuck 0.3-3.4mm is fitted to the 5mm motor shaft. The 3 jaw chuck will clamp a wide range of Proxxon 3mmshank bits for milling, drilling and cutting, wire brush cleaning, sanding, cutting disc from www.proxxon.com.
