Melamine urea formaldehyde is a thermosetting powder resin. Improved water resistance, heat and chemical resistance, durable adhesion than urea formaldehyde with lower formaldehyde emission. Mainly used in particleboard binding, lamination, improves plaster strength, textile wrinkle resistant, improves wet paper strength as in papier mache sculptures and paper making. Suitable for indoor and outdoor application.
Mix powder with water to the viscosity. Stir well in mixing to homogeneity and before use. Use mixed glue within 2-4 hours in room temperature. Allow cold cure under clamp longer duration then heat hot press thermosetting at 110- 140°C. Apply with brush, roller, squeeze or spray upon water dilution.
Avoid skin and eye contact, breathing in powder to avoid wearing face mask. Flush with water upon eye contact and wash hands with soap and water.
MUF resin is a versatile adhesive with better moisture resistant and durability than urea formaldehyde.
